Who We Are

We are a group of surfers, designers, and craftsmen specializing in surfboard designs fine-tuned for California’s legendary point and reef style waves. Our online store and retail partners offer a selection of stock model surfboards and apparel for purchase. In addition, our custom studio offers free consultations and a full-service customization process for creating that perfect board! More important than our services is our positive and approachable attitude. We are here to talk surfers through all of their surf craft needs and share some good vibes along the way! Nativ designs are for riders that appreciate a more stylish and elegant side of surfing. We're all about enjoying the ride!

Who You Are

We’re currently looking for an avid surfer in the South San Diego area (Preferably Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, La Jolla, or surrounding areas) to help promote our boards and brand in the local community. 

More specifically, we’re looking for someone with:

  • A life-long surfing background, ideally with roots in the South San Diego community.  
  • Ability to stay calm, collected, and confident in local lineups, and carry yourself with composure.
  • A smooth surfing style!  *You do NOT need to be a pro surfer, but more ability is a plus.
  • A healthy social media presence, or strong roots in the local community.
  • A great attitude and approachable, friendly demeanor.

      Ambassador Perks

      Our brand ambassadors are NOT employees and do NOT receive direct compensation.  However, we offer a few great perks for helping us spread the word...

      • Get ONE FREE custom model made just for you.  Any model, size, fin setup, tint job, you name it… We make it and deliver it to you within 6 weeks of coming on board with us.
      • Get ALL additional boards (custom or stock) at COST for the remainder of the year.  Yes, you can buy boards at cost, ride them, and even resell them to keep expanding your quiver as needed.
      • Get an invite to NSD Ambassador film sessions and trips taking place across Southern California & Mexico.

        What is Expected of Ambassadors

        • Label yourself a Nativ Surf Designs “Brand Ambassador” on your social media and spread good vibes.
        • Throw up posts of yourself shredding our boards, or lifestyle shots of our boards and/or merch in a classy way.
        • Do your best to join us for at our monthly film sessions across Socal.  We pay the Surf Videographer.  You just show up, catch up with us, and shred.  *You will receive all clips of yourself for free...
